Paraprompt exists because prompts deserve the same treatment as code: versioned, attributed, searchable, and ranked by the community that uses them. We're building the open registry for the prompt engineering era.

• Open beats walled gardens. No marketplace gates, no paywalls. Every prompt is free to use and remix.
• Model-agnostic by design. Whether you ship on GPT-4o, Claude Opus, Gemini Pro, Deepseek, or local Llama — your prompts come with you.
• Techniques over tricks. We tag every prompt with the technique it uses (basic, few-shot, CoT, ToT, RAG) so the community can learn the patterns, not just copy the strings.
